The Minorsaur for beginning concert band
The Minorsaur was written for the beginning band that has limited range, note and articulation skills but still want a "Real" piece of sheet music to prepare and perform. We can learn that by adding a note to our Bb concert scale that we can explore music in a Minor key. To do it we have the help of The MinorSaur! Reachable ranges with simple articulations and excitement from the percussion section make this a fun way to learn new things! A dramatic introduction and easy woodwind theme help set up the powerful passages from the low voices. Timpani, Tubular Bells and Snare Drum flams help to grow a young percussion section while dynamic and articulation contrasts challengs the winds. There is even an opportunity to learn about the DS al Coda roadmap. The MinorSaur will be a band favorite from the first rehearsal to the final performance!
Zombie March for beginning concert band
Zombie March is the perfect choice to show off your brand new shiny band students at any time of the year! Solid groove, limited ranges and technical challenges provide a very young band the musical choices that will sound great and they will be excited to put the work in on this fun piece to sound their best. Brass ranges are easily reachable and woodwind technical difficulty is achievable for all new students. The dynamic challenges will really foster a group effort to make things nice and spooky. Who doesn’t like a good Zombie March! Optional Electric Bass part is provided.

Why not? Let your very cool young band experience a solid groove while having the opportunity to explore crisp articulations and an energy that will make them want to dance along. Melodies are featured in all sections with comfortable ranges to let your students focus on correct style and balance. This tune will let the whole band and your audience have fun!
